Alana Karran is an internationally and academically Certified Executive Coach and Consultant, specializing in transforming the performance, sustainability and passion of leaders.
  
Alana has the unique ability to listen deeply and empathically to each of her clients, often creating connections between seemingly divergent issues, so that the true essence of their vision is articulated and their desired results manifested.

 

She facilitates change by inspiring and guiding her clients to engage with their unique genius and bring that knowing into the world so that they may live fulfilling lives of pleasure, passion, purpose and play. Alana draws from conventional and unconventional wisdom and antics to stimulate the brain to let go of old patterns and open to fresh possibilities.

 

An innovative, civic-minded professional with over twenty years' experience in the public, private and non-profit sectors, Alana possesses a unique talent for creating and transforming systems. Having served as an Executive Director, consultant for an international firm and serial entrepreneur, Alana embodies the tenets of servant leadership. Utilizing her skills as a creative and empathic group facilitator, she brings people and groups with multiple objectives together, aligning their efforts in a shared vision.

 

Alana also teaches and speaks to graduate students and business leaders on topics such as Transformational Leadership, Emergent Systems Organization and Group Facilitation and Dynamics.

 

Alana is an alumna of Antioch University, The Academy for Coach Training and the Leadership Tomorrow Program. She has directed and produced several documentary films including The Voices of Children. She co-produced the radio talk show Essence Soup, discussing how to tap into and live life from inner knowing and has written numerous articles on related topics.

 

Through her involvement in organizations and projects such as Spirited Work, The Practice of Peace and Whole Story News and Entertainment Services, Alana has explored the meaning of providing a witness to hear, see and love others and their stories.

 

Alana is a true humanitarian, advocate and visionary. She sees herself as a professional listener, idea generator, storyteller and transformational guide. Most importantly, Alana is the mother of two beautiful teenagers.
